Hopefully You! Happy Brand New Year, almost end of the first month and barely the beginning of the long Awards Show Season ahead. Hold onto your swag bag.
The most successful brand stories, like the stories we love on the golden screen or read in a book have at their helm a hero. As if by magic the hero awakens and articulates for us even more about ourselves and our possibilities. And we love the hero for that.
If you are starting or growing or resuscitating your brand, your story needs a hero and that's not first our products and services.
The customer may not always be right but the customer is always the hero – that is in brands that are no longer interested in doing business “as usual" and having unusual successes while making a difference in people's lives.
And now without too much further adieu, Ladies and Gentlemen I give you my award my for the best supporting hero in a brand story – that happens to come from one of my favorite brands. IKEA. See what you can gleam about who the hero of your own story may be here:
You don’t have to be a company with a jumbo advertising budget or an ad budget at all- to show and tell the story only you are here to tell.
I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading.
